The Great Flat Load Cornwall – photos

There has actually been  snow in some northern parts of Cornwall today, not here, though it feels  colder enough to. Blustery and bleak, Looking across from Four Lanes.

This area gained World Heritage Status for Cornwall’s tin mining history in 2006; it it also part of the ‘Great Flat Load’, a huge tin deposit that runs through this area. During the height of the Cornish tin mining industry this region boasted the richest square mile on the planet.
