‘OUR CORNWALL’, a campaign group supported by Trelawney Alliance (Camborne), SOUL (St Austell), Truro Concern and CoSERG (Cornish Social Economic Research Group) and many other bodies, will present a copy of an open letter to Councillors calling for a complete re-think of the policy to build 48,000 houses in Cornwall over the next 20 years, and all other related aspects of the Cornwall Core Strategy, will be presented to the Chairman of Cornwall Council, Mrs Pat Harvey, on Thursday 27th September at 12noon outside the front door of New County Hall. One and all are welcome to attend, to support this initiative, to bear witness and to show the Council that there is widespread concern about its current policy proposals.
OUR CORNWALL will hand over a letter to Cornwall Council, currently signed by more than 33 Cornish organisations, calling for a halt to the 48,000 houses proposed for the Duchy.
A football field has been provided for parking. Go past County Hall on to the mini roundabout, turn here to go back in the direction of County Hall the field is just before, it will be signposted.
