A view from the Lizard

A view from the cliff. Church Cove Gunwalloe, Lizard Peninsula, you can just make out the Poldhu cove hotel in the background, and just behind the hotel you will find the Marconi center  the first transmitter to send out a transatlantic radio signal. The signal went from Poldhu Wireless Station to St. John’s Newfoundland , Canada on December 12, 1901.
