Sennen cove, Cornwall – photos

By admin | January 13, 2009

Sennen cove like a ghost town, although its just before four in the afternoon, there are no school children to be seen. Ever shop is closed and there seems no sign of community life.

Gazing across the oceans towards the cliffs, makes you realise how ancient Cornwall/Kernow is!

I think this is quite common, a lot of smaller costal towns in Cornwall seem to close up in the winter. Sad really…

We’re not closed Shaz…just having a breather before our next lot of visitors. Remember that Sennen has two parts to it. The Cove, and Churchtown which is at the top of the cliffs. There you will find the school, shop/post office and church where it is business as usual…although perhaps a little quieter than in the height of summer.
