Today in Cornwall hundreds of people gathered at Perranporth sand dunes to celebrate St Pirans day, The story of St Piran is re-enacted with the audience following the members of the play across the dunes.

St Piran at his fire smelting tin. The black and white flag of St Piran represents the black ore out from which the white tin is extracted.

The crowd follow St Piran to various different landmarks during the play.

Future Cornish population chill out at the cross of St Piran, during the play everyone carries daffodils which are placed at the cross at the end.
