We are expecting storms and flooding in the next few days, the new moon always bring high tides, here are some photos taken in Newquay a while back during a high tide.
Lord and Lady Long's house on the island can be seen in the background - if the weather gets too bad, crossing the bridge can become daunting and rather funny to watch at times. Towan beach is generally quite a sheltered area of Newquay Bay.
No need for a telescope to see this huge wave at Towan Beach promenade.
