More storm damage, Norman sent this photo in from Lower Treave Farm near Sennen, he returned home from his recent holiday to find two trees had blown down on his campsite. At least we know where to go for our logs next winter. Check out yesterday's storm damage here.

Gulls flying to roost. Each night just before sunset hundreds of gulls fly south in small groups, over a period of about an hour, along the coast towards Mullion Island on the Lizard peninsula. As you sit and watch this most peaceful ending to the day you notice that not one single gull is flying in the opposite direction. Seems like almost all the Mounts Bay Gulls will be asleep on Mullion Island tonight.

Poldu Cove looking a little calmer today and with less ocean foam on the road too, the Poldhu Hotel stands majestically up on the cliff. The Marconi centre is just beyond the hotel.
