St Ives Cornwall from the harbour wall, a nice sheltered spot, and a feeling that the summer is not too far away.
A pair of Herring gulls on the harbour wall in St Ives, the bird in the foreground is the male, herring gulls mate for life which can be up to 30 years, this pair are certainly used to humans and did not move at all as we approached them.
Porthmeor beach St Ives Cornwall , a few brave souls braced the icy cold ocean to ride the small but clean waves.
